The NAIP strategic partnership is organising a staff development seminar for the participating institutions, hosted in Bali by Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore. The goal of the staff development seminar will be two explore and reflect on the two compulsory modules that stand at the core of the NAIP curriculum: Performance & Communication and Leading & Guiding. Over the last five years these modules have been further developed within each school, sometimes quite differently by various teachers. During the seminar, core teachers of these modules will offer insight in the philosophy behind their teaching. They will share knowledge and experiences, and deliver hands on examples of their approach with a group of students. In particular, Performance and Communication will be subject of this form of reflection so that the content can become more transferable to other teachers.
